Certified Tutor

I am a May 2018 college graduate with my Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Human Services. I am graduating from Colorado Technical University. I am furthering my education this fall with my Masters in Social Work. I am an enthusiastic individual for all education. I believe education is important and all people should have access to the wonderful experience of learning! I have a great deal of experience in education from homeschooling my own young children, tutoring adolescents, and assisting my college peers academically. I tutor many subjects including English, Science and College Prep. My favorite subject to tutor is English. I love to help the students I tutor find the joy in the English language by helping them break down their difficulties into smaller, simpler goals for assignments. My tutoring and teaching style is based upon gaining my student's interest. I love to make the experience of learning fun! Providing examples and relating it to things that a person can relate to, helps to ease the tension associated with studying. Outside of my joys of education, I enjoy spending time with my children, advocating for special needs children, and nature hunts.
