Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Purdue University with a B.S. degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. Since earning this degree I have worked on satellite systems, space optics, helicopter airframe design, rocket engines, carbon tethering, and complex testing systems for multiple jet engine components.

I love to learn and continue to challenge myself every day to learn something new. I have found a passion in helping others achieve this as well and enjoy teaching/tutoring whenever I can. My formal teaching experience began at Purdue where I was a graduate teaching assistant for several courses including CAD courses, satellite dynamics, and space systems. A favorite annual event was the Purdue Space Day where I joined other students in teaching kids and the community about space and technology. After Purdue, I have continued teaching in a less formal setting by mentoring engineers who work for me within many different companies. This has allowed me to help fulfill my passion for helping others while also continuing to improve as a mentor and engineer.

Outside of the workplace I enjoy many activities and exploring communities. Some of these activities include runs with my dog, mountain biking, rock climbing, golf, woodworking, and cooking. My exploring includes travel to many counties in Europe (both while serving in the Marine Corps and as a civilian for work and pleasure) and I hope to continue traveling for years to come.
