I have a Bachelors from Emory University in Economics and in Sociology. I can tutor a wide range of subjects for students ranging from elementary school to post-college students. I can also tutor test-prep and have extensive experience with test taking and receiving high scores in the GRE and SAT. My approach to teaching is to start from the basics, finding out first what basics my students are lacking and then preparing my lessons around that. I work with powerpoint presentations to teach the material and rely on worksheets and handouts to give students extra work. I believe that both hands-on and lecture techniques are important to help students excel. I am flexible with my time and am also available for help if you have questions about the lesson and homework outside of scheduled time. I want to make it my goal to help others achieve their academic goals and will try to dedicate as much of my time to my students as possible. I want to make learning easy, help foster good learning skills, and would love to help you get to your academic goals!
