Certified Tutor
I am a recent graduate of Northwestern University with a degree in Creative Writing and Biology. I have worked as a counselor for the BIO/CHEM EXCEL program at Northwestern, as well as a Residential Assistant for the Spectrum Program at Northwestern's Center for Talent Development. Through these positions I have worked with students ages 12-18 as a tutor, counselor, and mentor. I am most passionate about tutoring in the humanities and literature, as I believe these subjects touch all facets of our daily lives. I believe that a key to a student's success is the belief that they are capable of doing the task set before them. Confidence and self-assuredness are some of the best motivators.
Apart from tutoring, I am working to publish both creative and critical work, and I hope to one day become a professor. Recreationally, I enjoy reading, listening to and analyzing music, scuba diving, and playing video games with my friends.
