I am graduate of a Top 20 university, Emory University, and a recent law school graduate from Georgia State University College of Law.
With skillsets in English and Writing that I mastered in college, I attained a passion for sharing these skillsets with students. I believe that EVERY student has the ability to become a talented writer, no matter their circumstance, no matter their background.
With patience, time and proper guidance, the English and Writing skills I have been able to share with my students has allowed them to not only become great writers, but has also expanded their creative minds and has advanced their academic lives holistically.

What strategies have you found to be most successful when you start to work with a student?
The strategy that I find to be most successful is first allowing the student to observe the skill I am trying to teach them. I provide them with the opportunity to watch me do the particular skill I am sharing with them and give them a chance to mentally absorb that skill. Once they've perceived it for themselves, I guide them through the process of doing it on their own. The student applies what they observed by initially watching me, and may successfully commit the skill to memory and continue on the skill as their own newly attained skill.
