What is your teaching philosophy?
I believe in connecting with students on a personal level above all else - their interests, motivations, and aspirations are the base for any and all learning and fun!
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
In our first session I like to get a sense of who the student is, what they like and are interested in, what they think they need help in, and what we can do to make these sessions fun and interesting.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
To become an independent leader, a student needs to feel empowered and confident in their own decisions and actions. By promoting mindfulness, perspective, and awareness, I can help them develop into a stronger leader.
How would you help a student stay motivated?
Helping a student stay motivated includes setting measurable, attainable goals and keeping learning exciting, varied, and fun.
How do you build a student's confidence in a subject?
I help to build a student's confidence in a subject by enabling them to realize their true potential as a learner and a scholar. By setting measurable and attainable goals, we climb the ladder one rung at a time.
