Certified Tutor

I am an Oregon raised educator with over five years of experience as a teacher, tutor, and teaching assistant. I have a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Oregon and an M.S. in Biostatistics from OHSU. My teaching style emphasizes writing and self sufficiency because I want to teach my students how to accelerate the pace of their learning, not just keep their head above water. I also seek to tailor my teaching to the individual so that they can meet their individual goals in academia
My preference is to work with high school and college mathematics students. I have experience working with nontraditional students as well as students with poor math backgrounds. I'm especially interested in college algebra, discrete math, and statistics.
