I received a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Arts degree in Middle Eastern and North African Studies and Modern Middle Eastern and North African Studies respectively from the University of Michigan. In September 2014, I began working as a substitute teacher. I teach students, some of whom are bilingual Arabic/English speakers, a wide variety of topics, including Math, Science, English, and Social Studies. However, my favorite topics to teach are History and Foreign Languages.
Whenever I work with students, I present the material in a detailed and engaging manner so the students both thoroughly understand the topic and take an interest in it.
My hobbies include reading, particularly books about ancient Rome and ancient, medieval, and modern Middle Eastern history, as well as consulting my Arabic, French, German, and Hebrew dictionaries and spending time with my family.
