Certified Tutor

I received my degree from New College of Florida. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies with a concentration in urban studies. I currently attend Florida State University, where I am earning a Master's of Science in Planning with a concentration in transportation planning. As an undergrad I tutored students in Geographic Information Systems (or GIS), helping them not only with their computer skills but with understanding geography, environmental science, and urban issues. Although I tutor in a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about French, literature, and writing, and history. While understanding these subjects may be difficult, I enjoy working with students to help them develop study strategies and gain confidence in their knowledge. I truly believe learning should be a fun and an enjoyable experience, and I am excited to share that journey with my students. In my spare time I enjoy reading (both fiction and nonfiction), cooking vegan meals, practicing yoga, hiking, and watching television with my friends.
