I have volunteered as a tutor at Firestone High School and have additional experience curating Academic Team study sessions while serving as Captain. I'm a very patient tutor, and find communication to be key in my teaching process. Throughout my education, I have strived to maintain diligent performance in spite of attention deficit disorder. Additionally, as a college student, I have invested much of my attention into disability theory, and seek to integrate what I have learned into the way I approach teaching. I feel that this experience equips me to make accommodations for anyone with similar challenges, and to adaptively respond to the individual needs of students. I am fluent in Spanish and Farsi, and am have experience with ESL tutoring and translation work.
