Certified Tutor

I am a current junior studying Psychology at the University of Maryland in College Park. I attended Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania my freshman year of college and transferred to UMD the following year. At Lafayette College, I served as the program coordinator for our community outreach program, Tutoring at the Easton Area High School. I have similar experience tutoring middle-school students and intend to pursue my masters in Elementary Education post-graduation. I have extensively worked with younger age groups as well, through my position as a research assistant for the Social and Moral Development Laboratory as well as my two-year nanny experience. I am comfortable tutoring a wide variety of subjects, including standardized test prep for the SATs as well as various English and Math courses ranging from elementary to high school levels. I particularly love editing essays and working on strengthening one's quality of writing. I am enthusiastic, motivated, and passionate about education, and I am very eager to meet new students and help them learn. In my spare time, I love to travel, and I visited China as well as the Czech Republic and Hungary this past summer.
