I attended college at Monmouth University, where I graduated magna cum laude from the Honors School with a BA in Political Science and minor in English. While an undergraduate, I worked in the University Writing Center, tutoring students in writing composition, brainstorming, literary analysis, and grammar. I consider my time at the Writing Center to be among my fondest memories. After college I attended law school at the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, where I continued to enjoy helping others hone their writing skills as editor-in-chief of a law journal. Aside from the law, I am most passionate about Literature and Politics, and I believe that effective writing is one of the most important skills to develop and consistently improve. I think that learning to write well and to understand the writing of others should be fun, and that students should be taught in a way in which their own ideas are central to developing solutions to problems or questions. In my spare time I enjoy reading, running, baseball, and cooking.
