Certified Tutor

My background is mainly in Math, Physics and the Life Sciences. I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Physics at the University of Illinois and double majored in Math with a minor in Biochemistry. I taught undergraduate courses in Mechanics and Thermodynamics as a graduate teaching assistant in my final year at the University. I did post graduate training in the Life Sciences at Northwestern University where I obtained an advanced degree.
I have taught undergraduate courses in Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, and Biology as an adjunct professor at the University of Illinois, Scottsdale Community College, and Phoenix College. I have tutored college and high school students in Math (Geometry through Calculus and Differential Equations), Physics, Physical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Genetics, Anatomy, and Physiology.
I have special interests in Biochemistry, Electric Circuits, Differential Equations/Vector Calculus, and Rectilinear (Projectile) Motion problems. I also enjoy playing and teaching guitar, violin, and viola. My hobbies include bicycling, tennis, skiing, weight lifting, and aerobic exercises.
