The student and I did a lot of practice with various principles of fractions today, with special focus on word problems. For the most part, the student understood the material very well. Overall, she is doing well, and I plan on doing more conceptual work next week, as she is very curious.

Today we worked on simple and multiple regression. We covered a huge amount of information in this session but I think the student really got the hang of it. At the end I sent her some materials that illustrate comprehensive interpretation of multiple regressions, for her reference. It was a good session.

Today, we discussed various Trigonometric equations that simplified using Pythagorean and Algebraic rules. We learned through proofs, and we also evaluated unit circles to understand the odd/even rules of the trig functions.

The student and I worked on reviewing for her retest in Algebra II where she was trying to get an even higher grade. She has been consistently improving in her classwork and I only see her getting better.

The student needed an extra session today to prepare for an upcoming physics test on Tuesday. We went over kinematics (uniform and accelerated motion in 1D and 2D) as well as vectors and some technical drawing.

We covered alkanes, alkenes, alkynes and how to use reactions related to them. The student's attitude was very positive towards the material. She asked very good questions to help facilitate the session. She really only needed to recall certain reactions. Overall, I believe she will do well in this class.
