As a dedicated educator with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Edward's University and a Bachelor's in Psychology from Baylor University, I am passionate about guiding students through their academic challenges. With over 2 years of tutoring experience, I specialize in Psychology, MCAT preparation, study skills, and writing. My approach centers on understanding each student's unique learning style and creating a supportive environment that encourages questions and exploration. I strive to make complex concepts relatable by connecting them to real-world experiences, fostering deeper engagement and understanding. My work in community mental health has equipped me with the skills to build rapport and adapt lessons to individual needs, particularly for high school and college students. I am motivated by the opportunity to empower learners and help them develop effective study habits, all while nurturing their confidence in their abilities. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy delving into literature and discussing human behavior, which continually informs and enriches my teaching practice.
