Student 1: We reviewed vocabulary related to hospitals, parts of the body, adverbs of time and frequency. Additionally, we reviewed the conjugation of regular verbs in present and simple past tenses. Student 2: We studied differences between "preterito" and "preterito imperfecto," using the exercises in her Spanish textbook. Then, we checked the results of her reading test (done last week), understanding and correcting wrong answers. Finally, we worked on her writing skills (spontaneous writing).

The students are a fun, nice, sweet couple with a lot of will to learn! In the first session, we went over basic greetings, days of the weeks and months of the year, colors, and some foods. In the second session, we covered household objects and some key phrases that they wanted to learn. He mentioned that he wants more sessions per week!

Today the student and I did listening exercises with Spanish podcasts about Spain. Specifically, we talked about controversies surrounding the national anthem of Spain. We also went over new vocabulary.

Today we reviewed the concepts we talked about during our last session, which included numbers, months, seasons, and the uses of the verb 'ser.' We also moved on to some conversation work, mostly involving interrogative sentences. For the vocabulary, I advised the student to make flashcards and use them to help with memorization. She had progressed greatly by the end of the session, and with more studying, I am confident that she will continue to improve.

The student and I reviewed his last test. It showed minor errors and very few reasoning errors. My strategy for him will be doing rapid fire conjugation so that he has the conjugations memorized as well as making sure he knows all the rules of pronouns.

The student practiced more on dates and numbers - counting, dates, weeks, months, year, and time. He is very good at counting, reading time, and weeks. We will continue practicing on numbers and time.
