As a passionate educator with a Bachelor's in History from the University of Virginia, I have over 6 years of experience in tutoring and classroom teaching. I specialize in Readking Skills, English Grammar and Syntax, Creative Writing and AP US History. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a supportive and engaging environment where students feel empowered to explore their ideas and develop critical thinking skills. I believe in personalized learning approaches, tailoring my methods to meet individual needs and interests, which has proven effective in enhancing student outcomes. Additionally, my experience in essay editing and middle school English helps me connect with a diverse range of learners.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading and exploring historical sites, which enriches my teaching and inspires my students.
