Ayush: Vancouver tutor
Certified Tutor
As a current Mathematics student at the University of Waterloo, I am passionate about Math and Computer Science. I am a passionate learner and tutor with a strong foundation in Mathematics, Python programming, and Data Science, I strive to make complex ideas simple and engaging. I love helping students not just solve problems, but truly understand the logic behind them. Whether it's Algebra, Calculus, or introductory programming, my approach is to build intuition step-by-step, using relatable examples that connect academic concepts to real life.
I began tutoring by helping classmates and my friends strengthening their math and coding skills, and that experience taught me the joy of seeing a student's confidence grow with each breakthrough. Now, I plan to work with other students of different levels, to help them enjoy Math and CS. Focusing on clarity, curiosity, and critical thinking is my goal in every session.
My teaching philosophy is grounded in practice, logic, and encouragement. I believe learning is most effective when students feel supported and are given the tools to think independently rather than memorize steps. My lessons often include guided practice, mini challenges, and personalized feedback to make sure each student develops lasting problem-solving skills. I go on building one topic over other using questions instead of theoretical sessions
Outside academics, I enjoy participating in math and coding competitions and solve challenging questions related to math and CS, which helps me keep my skills sharp and fuel my enthusiasm for sharing knowledge with others.
