As a professional human resources manager with a bachelor's degree, I am a dedicated and experienced tutor. I believe that unlocking a student's potential begins with fostering confidence and a genuine curiosity for learning. My own appreciation for learning computer basics, reading, and writing was sparked by a teacher who made complex theories feel approachable and exciting. This inspiration drives my approach to tutoring: to make the subject engaging and relevant, so that students are motivated not just to pass a test, but to truly understand the material.
With over five years of experience, I have successfully tutored students from the ages of five to fifty. Elementary to high school in a range of English, reading, writing, and standardized test preparation. For example, I worked with one student who was struggling with reading comprehension, feeling that they were "just not a reader."
