Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). I received my Bachelor of Arts in Modern Language and Linguistics with a focus on Korean and Chinese. Since graduating, I have utilized my interpretation skills and knowledge in language by helping clients at work and translating for kpop fans all over the world as well as took part in helping many friends of mine and others in learning languages, especially Korean. Although I am most passionate about tutoring languages, I also take a broad interest in English, Literature, Music and Art. In my experience when it comes to tutoring students with reading, writing, oral practices etc. in languages, we have fun interactions all while utilizing Critical Thinking and Reading skills as well as Analytical skills to help sharpen them to prepare for Standardize Tests. I am a believer in education that is hands on and stimulating rather than just surface level and monotonous, which is what I always try to instill in my tutoring. Passion is the flame, and I am always willing to help ignite that flame in students. In my free time, I love to work out, cook, spend time in nature and watch shows anything related to fantasy.
