As a passionate educator with a Master's degree in Human Relations and Business from Amberton University, I have over 5 years of tutoring experience in adult literacy, elementary reading, and ESL. My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a positive and encouraging supportive and engaging atmosphere where students feel confident to express themselves and take meaningful risks in their learning journey. I employ personalized strategies that address individual needs, which not only helps students overcome challenges but also fosters their academic growth. I find immense joy in witnessing their progress and achievements. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy smooth jazz, family time, reading, and exploring diverse cultures, which enriches my teaching approach and helps me connect with students on a personal level.
