Certified Tutor

Donal Thoms-Cappello was born and raised in New Jersey and has worked as an actor, educator, and writer out of New York City, Los Angeles, and Vancouver. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia and teaches all literature and composition-based courses at the secondary and post-secondary level. He specializes in essay structure, media arts and studies, including film, new media, and fine arts. Donal also has experience teaching and managing test prep courses around the SAT, SSAT, AP English, and IP English and Film programs. He is extremely excited to be here at Varsity Tutors where he can contribute to an already impressive education community.
