As a licensed elementary school teacher from Montreal with a Bachelor's in Early Childhood and Elementary School Education from Concordia University, I am deeply passionate about fostering a love of learning in my students. With over 2 years of experience teaching core subjects, ESL, and phonics online and in-person, I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment. I believe that education should be both exciting and achievable, which is why I incorporate gamified activities into my lessonstransforming phonics into a "sound detectives" game, for instance, or weaving math problems into captivating stories based on students' interests. This approach not only helps students master essential skills but also builds their confidence and enthusiasm for learning.
