Hello my name is Cherle Cartwright, I received my Bachelor's from Kaplan University in Early Childhood Development and my Masters from Strayer's University in Curriculum Leadership. I am passionate about helping students because they are full of potential even when they don't see it in themselves. Supporting students can have a long term breakthrough in confidence, understanding, and motivation that will change their lives.

I've had the opportunity to work with students in various settings, including one-on-one tutoring, classroom support, and small group instruction. My experience spans different age groups and Lea styles, which has taught me to be patient, flexible, and creative in my approach. Math is my favorite subject because it challenges me to think critically and solve problems in creative ways. I love how there's usually a clear answer, but multiple paths to get there. It's like a puzzle-and each problem is an opportunity to learn and improve. My teaching philosophy is centered on student empowerment and understanding. I believe every student has the ability to succeed when they're given the right support, encouragement, and tools. I aim to build confidence by creating a safe, judgment-free learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes-because that's where real learning happens. Outside of academia I'm passionate about spending time with family and friends, I enjoy reading motivational books, watching sports and volunteering at the nursing home, and cooking.

I also value my opportunities to travel and experience different cultures. It helps me stay curious and open-minded-qualities that are just as important outside the classroom as they are inside.
