As a passionate educator with a Bachelor's in Learning Science from the University of Southern California, I have over 2 years of tutoring experience in subjects across the social sciences and humanities. My coursework included Learning & Memory, Cognitive Neuroscience, Intelligence and Creativity, Developmental and Affective Neuroscience, Developmental Psychology, Statistics, and Ethnographic Research Methods, which provided me with both a strong theoretical foundation and practical research skills to understand how students learn and grow. These academic experiences directly inform my teaching philosophy, which centers on creating a supportive and engaging environment where students feel empowered to express themselves and develop their skills. I believe that every student can succeed with the right guidance and encouragement. I enjoy tailoring my approach to meet individual needs, fostering a love for learning and critical thinking. In my free time, I explore literature and psychology, which further enriches my tutoring sessions and helps me connect with students on various levels.
