Certified Tutor

I have been an educator for over 15 years and am currently working as an Instructional Coach. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Education and a Master's degree in Curriculum Design and Instruction. Throughout my career, I've taught 5th7th grades, English Language Learners, adult literacy classes, and college courses. I've also tutored students from Pre-K through 12th grade as well as adults. I specialize in tutoring reading, English, English as a Second Language, math through Algebra 1, history, science, and Spanish. I am fluent in Spanish which allows me to connect with a wide range of learners, and I am passionate about helping students build skills and confidence. My teaching philosophy is that everyone can learn and everyone deserves an education. I strive to make learning engaging and meaningful by connecting it to real life and to my students' goals.
