As a passionate educator currently pursuing my Bachelor's in Music Education at West Chester University, I bring over 2 years of tutoring experience in subjects such as Creative Writing, Elementary Math, and Music Theory. My teaching philosophy emphasizes creating a supportive environment that inspires students to express themselves and nurture their creativity. I believe in connecting with each student on an individual level, adapting my methods to align with their unique interests and learning styles. Undergraduate Degree: West Chester University of Pennsylvania - Bachelor in Arts, Music
I have a strong passion for music and teaching. I enjoy learning new instruments and currently play all woodwinds at a professional level, as well as brass and percussion at an intermediate to professional level. I also teach beginner and intermediate piano. I stay active musically by singing in my church choir, playing handbells, and leading the preschool Sunday school class. At my university, I perform in multiple ensembles on bassoon and contrabassoon, and I previously spent seven years in marching band, which I now enjoy as a spectator. In addition to performing, I am the lead teacher for toddler music classes and work as a tour guide for both the university and the school of music, where I love sharing my enthusiasm and helping others. Outside of music, I enjoy cooking for my fiancé, shopping, watching TV, spending time at the beach, and being around dogs. I am also a big Taylor Swift fan.
