I hold an MBA in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University, a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from Saint Leo University, and an Associate Degree in Nursing from the University of the Virgin Islands.
For over 30 years, I have taught nursing principles and infection control practices to a variety of clinical staff and mentored healthcare professionals one-on-one in risk management and patient safety. I have also trained clinical and non-clinical staff in hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers, focusing on compliance, quality improvement, and accreditation standards. I take pride in simplifying complex healthcare concepts so students gain confidence and clarity.
My tutoring style is structured, supportive, and practical, with lessons tailored to individual needs. I provide guidance in nursing, patient safety, NCLEX preparation, healthcare administration and compliance.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading materials that enrich my life and walking for balance and reflection.
