As a passionate educator completing a Doctorate in Human-Computer Interaction at Iowa State University, I have over 5 years of tutoring experience, along with several years of classroom instruction. I specialize in a variety of computer science subjects, including Computer Science Principles, Java, Python, and Information Computing. I thrive on creating a supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore and master complex concepts. Outside of teaching and research, I enjoy spending time outdoors through camping, fishing, and stargazing, which gives me a chance to unwind and explore nature. I also enjoy gardening and caring for animals. When indoors, I love reading and exploring new ideas, whether through books, puzzles, or coding projects. I enjoy problem-solving and learning across different areas, which often inspires me to bring fresh and creative perspectives into my teaching.
