As a Ph.D. Candidate in English at the University of Exeter, I bring over two years of dedicated tutoring experience to my role, where I specialize in AP English Literature and Composition, as well as various levels of writing and grammar. My educational journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Toronto, followed by a Master of Arts in English Literature from Bangor University, Wales, UK. I am passionate about fostering a love for literature and empowering students to develop critical thinking skills through engaging literary analysis. My approach is student-centered, focusing on creating a supportive learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity. I strive to inspire my students at Love of Language by connecting with their individual interests and helping them articulate their ideas effectively. The recognition I received, including the JoAnna Dutka award for academic achievement, motivates me to instill the same passion for learning in my students. I have also presented my own research at University conferences.
