As a passionate educator with a Bachelor's in Comparative Literature and a minor in Education from Florida Atlantic University, I have dedicated over 30 years to tutoring and teaching students across diverse backgrounds in Broward County, Florida. My specialties include SAT Prep, ESL/ELL, high school and middle school English, reading, and writing as well as basic computer literacy skills. I believe that fostering a supportive learning environment is essential for student success; I employ interactive methods, such as engaging discussions and technology tools like Kahoot, Blooket, and Wayground, to make learning enjoyable and effective. My experience has shown me the transformative power of literature and writing, and I am driven by the joy of helping students unlock their potential.
