I love teaching and helping people learn new things! My goal is to see you love what you're learning, get excited, learn quickly, and find success beyond the classroom!

I taught high school English and coding for 2.5 years and have tutored a diverse range of students, from elementary through high school, as well as Adult ESL/ELL and College English. I've helped grad students write essays and dissertation papers. I've also worked in the professional world in government, military, and healthcare settings, where I've developed training, managed projects, and developed business process automations using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, which has given me a deep knowledge of office software.

How I teach:

- I adjust how I teach to you and your particular needs
- I communicate carefully and clearly (remember that degree in linguistics?)
- I get you to think critically through discussion and applying what you have learned

I have a Master's degree in Linguistics (the study of languages, like a biologist for language) from California State University. Before that, I did my Bachelors in Linguistics at the University of Oregon.
