As a dedicated tutor with a Bachelor's in Psychology from Johns Hopkins University, I have over 2 years of experience in fostering academic growth in elementary literacy and math, as well as preparing adults for their NREMT exams. My involvement in the Johns Hopkins Tutorial Project allowed me to tailor my teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student, emphasizing foundational skills before advancing to more complex concepts. I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment by incorporating interactive techniques, such as games and hands-on activities, to build confidence and enthusiasm for learning. My background as an EMT for over four years enriches my tutoring approach, as I connect theoretical knowledge to real-world applications, particularly in emergency medical training. I find great joy in nurturing a love for learning and empowering my students to achieve their academic goals.
