As a second-year student pursuing a Bachelor's in Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Waterloo, I am passionate about nurturing young minds in mathematics. My experience includes working as a teacher's assistant at Asha, a school for autistic children in Bangalore, where I provided one-on-one support in elementary mathematics and English. This role deepened my commitment to helping students overcome challenges and build confidence in their abilities. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive environment where I first introduce concepts to the entire class, followed by personalized assistance to those who need it most. I believe that a strong foundation in math is critical for students' future success, and I am eager to inspire enthusiasm for subjects ranging from elementary math to statistics and calculus. In addition to tutoring, I run a nonprofit that helps students achieve their goals in track and field, further enhancing my communication and leadership skills.
