As a passionate educator with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, I began my career providing technical training for the Nuclear Navy Program and NASA. Wanting to share my love of math and science with the next generation, I transitioned to teaching middle school and high school students. I have more than 15 years of classroom teaching and over 4 years of tutoring experience. I specialize in algebra, geometry, and physics, where my engineering background allows me to make real-world connections that enhance student understanding. My teaching philosophy centers on helping students grasp the "why" behind mathematical processes, encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I find immense fulfillment in one-on-one tutoring where I can build a student's confidence in their abilities.
