Passionate about helping students build confidence and unlock creativity, I draw on over 15 years in the art and design field and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of IllinoisChicago. I've mentored learners of all ages in art, design fundamentals, and creative software, with a focus on Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and adaptive, blending technical skills with creative problem-solving to inspire lasting growth.

Aside from spending time with my two young children, I like to draw and watercolor. I’m also interested in video/film, teaching myself how to edit in Adobe Premiere. Right now I’m learning traditional 2D animation via Adobe Animate, as well as 3D modeling in Blender. I love running and have completed 11 marathons, but unfortunately an injury has sidelined me for the time being. I’m a bit of a pop-culture nerd, and I try to put that to good use for an occasional trivia night.
