I hold a PhD in Economics, have taught economics at the college level and tutored mathematics and computer science for high-school and college students. I am passionate about helping students connect theoretical concepts to real-world applications. My approach is student-centered; I tailor sessions to address the specific challenges a student is facing, identifying their knowledge gaps and proceeding to build a solid foundation for academic growth. I strive to create a collaborative environment where students feel comfortable expressing their needs. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy exploring different cultures, having lived in five countries and visited 25 more, which enriches my perspective and enhances my teaching by adding context and perspective.

I am an avid bicyclist, and I enjoy touring the local bike paths in the Washington DC area. I also build vacuum-tube based guitar amplifiers and related electronics based on my own designs. Interestingly, I am a *terrible* guitarist, but find the equipment to be fun to experiment with.
