As a passionate mathematics educator, National Board Certified teacher with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Brevard College, I have over 5 years of experience teaching and tutoring students across various levels, from elementary to high school. My approach centers on meeting students where they are, identifying their unique challenges, and rephrasing concepts in ways that resonate with them. I believe that every student can succeed in math, and I strive to create a supportive learning environment that fosters confidence and curiosity. My experience includes teaching Algebra, Geometry, and Pre-Algebra, and I have a knack for making complex ideas accessible. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy exploring new math applications in everyday life, which I often share with my students to illustrate the relevance of what they are learning.
