Certified Tutor

I have over four years of tutoring experience. At Arizona State University, I was a writing tutor for my campus' writing lab. I gained valuable experience working with a diverse set of students and received high positive feedback. On another tutoring platform Wyzant, I honed my skills to specifically help college students and adult learners. Currently, I am pursuing a Master's Degree in English at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. I am working towards becoming an English professor to help more students with improving their English skills.

I am most passionate about helping you with research papers, but I also enjoy helping you with all forms of writing, such as discussion boards, essays, reports, and personal statements in a wide range of subjects. In addition, I can teach you the basics of writing: brainstorming, creating an outline, understanding the parts of an essay, conducting research, and proofreading and editing. For proofreading and editing, I provide assistance with improvement word choice, sentence structure, organization, and citations.

My main focus as a tutor is to guide you towards identifying errors on your own and developing your unique voice. So, let me help you succeed in writing!

I enjoy watching movies/TV, doing arts and crafts, cooking/baking, reading, and hiking. I'm a huge LOTR nerd and Disney buff. I also enjoy watching anime and cartoons that I grew up with. When it comes to arts and crafts, I particularly enjoy sewing, crocheting, and painting. As for cooking and baking, I enjoy making desserts, especially cakes and am actively trying to improve my cake decorating skills. I also love finding new ways to cook my favorite recipes. My reading interests lie primarily in fantasy, mysteries, and Sci-Fi, but I make an acceptation for any Jane Austen themed Romance books. When the weather is nice, I go hiking with my boyfriend. Our most recent hike was Mt. Eisenhower, but we've also hiked part of the Grand Canyon and many parts of Phoenix, Sedona, and Flagstaff in Arizona.
