As a passionate tutor with a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from the University of Arizona, I have over 1 year of experience in teaching complex subjects like Anatomy & Physiology, Biology, Organic Chemistry, and Biochemistry. My approach centers on fostering a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and engaging in discussions. I believe that true understanding comes from active participation, so I often encourage students to teach back concepts, reinforcing their knowledge. My previous role as a preceptor allowed me to develop tailored lesson plans that address individual struggles, leading to positive feedback from my peers. I am dedicated to helping students grasp challenging material and achieve academic success, and I enjoy incorporating my interests in science and education into each session. Lastly, I am currently applying to medical school.
