As a tutor with a background in upper elementary education, I specialize in helping students build strong foundations in reading, writing, and social studies. I hold an undergraduate degree in History with a minor English, which gives me a well-rounded perspective when it comes to supporting both literacy and critical thinking across the curriculum.

My journey in education began with student teaching at the high school level, where I learned the importance of meeting students where they are and helping them grow with patience and clarity. I then spent a few years in an upper elementary classroom teaching reading, writing, and social studies. Today, I'm a practicing attorney. My current role deepened my appreciation for clear communication, structured writing, and lifelong learning. These are skills I now bring into tutoring sessions, whether I'm working with elementary students, high schoolers, or adults returning to education.
