As an educator with a Master's degree in Education from the University of West Georgia, I have over twenty years of experience in tutoring and instructing middle school students, primarily in language arts and GED preparation. My teaching approach focuses on creating a positive and engaging learning environment that enables students to develop their reading and writing skills. I am committed to supporting literacy development, which I believe enhances academic achievement and builds confidence, particularly for students learning English as second language. Currently certified to teach in Georgia, I am dedicated to working with diverse learners and guiding them through their educational journeys. In my personal time, I enjoy exploring literature and history, which further enriches my passion for teaching.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and our two young children, who keep life fun and full of energy. I also love relaxing at the beach and catching up with friends whenever I can. These moments help me stay balanced and bring a sense of joy and connection that I carry into my work with students. I believe that building relationships and creating a positive learning environment are just as important as academic success, and my hobbies reflect the importance I place on connection, fun, and balance.
