I am a licensed teacher with over 17 years of experience instructing students in reading, writing, and social studies (economics, government, history, geography, etc.). I love helping students of all ages to grow and meet their goals; it brings me great delight to learn and discover more about the world and how it works with others. Although my expertise lies in the humanities, I also enjoy tutoring students in math and the sciences, and I am comfortable and have experience tutoring students in math and science up through a high school education level. I have a Bachelor's of Arts in History and a Master's of Arts in Teaching.

I enjoy reading, especially science fiction and fantasy novels; I prioritize spending time with family and friends, and I always make sure to spend time with them a few times a week with a meal, a movie night, or a game night. I like to keep fit by riding a bike on the many beautiful bike trails near my neighborhood or by working with weights and machines at the local gym. I love music, especially pop music, and enjoy going to live concerts of music of all genres with my husband.
