My name is Elizabeth Maughan, and I hold a Doctorate in Law from Wake Forest University, along with a Bachelor's in Economics from Wofford College. With over 5 years of teaching and consulting experience, I specialize in employment law, including, but not limited to discrimination, wage and hour, protected leaves, etc., I have an active certification through the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) as a Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR). My background as an employment law attorney, coupled with my extensive experience in Employee Relations and HR Compliance within the Financial Services Industry, has equipped me with the ability to break down complex legal concepts into accessible lessons tailored to diverse learning styles. I am passionate about empowering students through education, believing that knowledge can significantly impact their professional lives. My experience as an instructor in Taekwondo and Krav Maga has further refined my teaching approach, allowing me to engage students of all experience levels effectively.
