As a dedicated educator with a Master's and EdS in Elementary Education and over nine years of teaching experience, I am passionate about fostering a love for reading in my students. I am currently teaching 5th grade, but I have previously taught 1st grade and 4th grade. I have honed my skills in tailoring lessons to meet individual needs, drawing on my extensive classroom experience. My approach is student-centered, utilizing patience and creativity to engage learners, particularly in reading and phonics, where I focus on building confidence and comprehension. I believe that effective tutoring not only enhances academic skills but also nurtures a student's overall self-esteem. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring new literature and sharing my love for reading with others, which further enriches my teaching practice.
