As a doctoral researcher in Mechanical Engineering, I bring over two years of tutoring experience and a passion for empowering students in subjects such as Algebra, Chemistry, Mathematics, Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering. My teaching philosophy centers around understanding each student's thought process, as I believe that grasping the underlying concepts is more crucial than merely arriving at the correct answers. This approach allows me to tailor my lessons to meet individual needs, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. Hobbies: Avid fiction reader (159 books in 2022); Singing in karaoke and choir shows (audience of up to 2,500) I am passionate about sustainability and the environment, and these form the motivation for my PhD research in renewable energy generation. I also have a strong passion for gender equality, feminism advocacy, and education. Most of my volunteering and leadership engagements fall under these priorities.
