As a dedicated educator with a Master's degree in Arts/Teaching and almost 10 years of classroom experience, I am passionate about fostering a love for learning in my students. Currently certified to teach in Texas, I specialize in high school English/Writing, Social Studies and Economics, striving to create engaging, interactive lessons that connect with students' interests. My teaching philosophy centers on understanding each student's unique perspective and developing a relationship that makes learning memorable and FUN! I believe that education should be a collaborative journey, where students gain the confidence to explore complex subjects they may struggle to enjoy like history and literature.

I really enjoy reading and making funny cross stitch creations. I struggled to learn cross stitching for years but I didn't give up and I finally figured it out! My next challenge is learning how to crochet and knit. Before moving to Texas, we had a farm in Arkansas with lots of animals. I look forward to having another farm soon!
