As a recent graduate from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, I am passionate about tutoring students in the sciences, particularly in AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and various levels of college chemistry. My year of experience as a peer tutor has allowed me to develop a personalized approach to teaching, where I prioritize understanding each student's unique learning style. I believe that learning should be an engaging conversation rather than a one-sided lecture, and I strive to create a supportive environment where students can set and achieve their academic goals. My motivation stems from my own experiences navigating challenging courses, and I am dedicated to helping students overcome perceived barriers in their education. I find joy in making complex scientific concepts accessible and exciting, as I believe that enthusiasm for the subject matter is essential for true comprehension and success.
