I am a graduate from the Bachelor of Animation program at Sheridan College. I have experience helping artists refine their portfolios and have provided in-depth feedback on several subjects within the world of art and animation. While I am knowledgeable on most 2D and 3D disciplines, I am most passionate about character drawing, storyboarding and computer animation. My approach to tutoring involves gathering all the necessary information on a student's artistic background and learning style, then creating custom lessons and demos built around techniques that combine new strategies with each individual's creative preferences. I am a strong believer in constructive feedback, which highlights both areas in need of improvement and skills that are already well-developed. Above all else, I am pleased to help students learn and grow their love for the arts. When I am not drawing or animating, I enjoy browsing local antique shops, camping with friends and playing a variety of different video games.

While I love to draw for both my career and as a hobby, I have many other interests that I enjoy in my free time. I love to design and sew new clothes, create characters with their own unique stories and I recently started learning how to play the bass. I am a big collector of second-hand trinkets and will often restore and/or customize small things that I find. Playing games both online and in person in the form of tabletop RPGs is another one of my favourite ways to spend a weekend. Most of these are indoor hobbies, but I am also keen on getting outdoors and biking through trails or going on a walk with my dog.
