As an enthusiastic educator with a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology from Universit Laval, I bring over 30 years of diverse teaching experience, including tutoring high school students, in subjects such as Biochemistry, Biostatistics, Chemistry, Science, Human Physiology and Anatomy, and General Biology.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes fostering curiosity by encouraging students to ask questions and engage deeply with the material. I believe that when students drive their own inquiries, true learning occurs.
I bring a wealth of experience in online teaching and course design, having developed and delivered engaging, accessible content for diverse learners across virtual platforms. My approach emphasizes clarity, flexibility, and student engagement, ensuring that online learning is both effective and inclusive. I am deeply committed to working with students of all abilities and backgrounds. Over the years, I have had the privilege of supporting learners with a range of special needs, including autistic students and those with various learning challenges (e.g., ADHD, Tourette syndrome, etc). This experience has strengthened my belief in differentiated instruction, patience, and the value of creating supportive learning environments where every student can thrive.
My goal is to inspire a lifelong love of science, helping students understand the intricate connections between biology, chemistry, and their everyday lives. I find joy in creating interactive environments where students can explore and discover the wonders of science, making complex concepts relatable and exciting.

I am a lifelong athlete with a deep appreciation for endurance sports, having competed in numerous races—including four Ironman triathlons—as well as cycling and running events. Beyond athletics, I find joy and inspiration in nature, music, and mindfulness. I’m an avid jazz enthusiast and have recently returned to playing the guitar after a long hiatus, rediscovering the creativity and calm it brings. A daily meditation practice grounds me and enriches my perspective, both personally and professionally. I believe this balance of discipline, reflection, and passion enhances my effectiveness as an educator and my connection with others.
